Bootcamp for WCS beginners with Marc & Mejrem
Friday, June 7th, 2024: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m
Have you heard of West Coast Swing and want to try it out? Then you’ve come to the right place. You can participate alone at any time, whether as a leader or follower. We put the dance couples together on site and then constantly change dance partners in the WCS. You can book your ticket in advance or – if there is still space – at the box office on site.
Here you will learn the first basic figures of the West Coast Swing: left side pass, underarm turn and sugar push. Marc Heldt & Mejrem practice with you and make sure you feel comfortable on the dance floor. (The lessons are held in German.)
However, after the 2-hour introduction, it is not yet possible to attend the workshops on the festival weekend (June 8th/9th, 2024). After the boot camp, we recommend that you attend the WCS courses “Beginner 1 – 4” at CIRCULO (www.circulo.de). Once you have visited this, you will be well prepared for the next WCS festival (November 15-17, 2024) and will have a lot of fun.
